John Quincy Adams Society's 2019 Summer Leadership Conference

Students interested in foreign policy are invited to apply for the John Quincy Adams Society's 2019 summer leadership conference. This conference will take place from the evening of Wednesday, July 17, through the afternoon of Friday, July 19. Participants will meet professionals in the field,  connect with JQA's student leaders from around the country, and learn important leadership skills.

The conference will be in the heart of Washington, D.C., in the University of Notre Dame’s Keough School – around the corner from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies, think tanks like the Carnegie Endowment and the Brookings Institution, and the embassies of Australia, Kazakhstan, and El Salvador. Students are encouraged to apply sooner rather than later as spaces and funds are limited, but there is scholarship money available to cover all expenses.  You can apply using this link https://jqas.org/2019-summer-conference/.

The John Quincy Adams Society is a nonpartisan student-led discussion group on US foreign policy. We meet once a week to discuss current events. Our group is nonpartisan and apolitical in an attempt to hear from everyone. The group has a wide-reaching network of foreign policy professionals that can be valuable resources to anyone seeking advice on a career in international relations.
